Idea Generation

The above image is of our idea generation, this is how we want our horror film plot to look like. We decided to make the whole length of a horror film narrative as we thought it would be easier this way to then go back and look at what we wanted the whole film to be about and then select certain key points which make the film scary and that look good, this will then draw the audience in if they see fast scary shots of the film. The narrative for our trailer is about a group of friends moving into a new uni house, where they will be staying for the next year. They will be staying here at night and then during the day they will be going to uni. As time passes things start changing, things end up going missing, such as one of the girls necklaces, there is also many different sounds happening whilst this is going on, the group of girls end up starting to worry whats wrong with emily, as she is acting really differently, almost as if she is possessed. The climax of the film happens when, one of the girls leaves her imac photo booth on, which ends up videoing, this shows the two twins stood there looking creepily into the camera, it then jumps forward and you see them closer to the camera. Then appears a black screen as it has then cut off. The friends see the footage of the the two girls stood together, end up becoming scared as they don't know whats going on. They then decide to find help by going to ask one of their uni teachers for help to see if they know what is happening to Emily and why she is acting like that. The groups of girls decide to hold an excorism in their living room, this is where they light the candles, to try and release the devil from inside Emily's body. Emily is held locked up in her room at this point, all you can hear is screams and weird noises coming from her bedroom. After a while her friends go upstairs to see whats happening, she seems to be very exhausted and ill at this point, the devil has left the body. At the end of the film it's when the girls are going back home after finishing a term of uni. 

The key points which we would like to see in our trailer are:

-The girls pulling up outside the house and moving there belongings in

-the shot of the girls sat in the living room, then one of them storms in asking who's tuck her necklace

-the scene is of Emily stood over the bed staring at her friends looking creepily

-the scene in the kitchen where Emily is stabbing erratically at her food and her friend is trying to understand what is wrong with her

-the shot of the girls looking into research about why Emily is acting weird, this scene is in the library

-the very last shot are of emily stood there and then all of a sudden theres two of them stood there, looking creepily into the camera lens, it then cuts
