Costume + Props

Props

We have decided on lots of different plots for the our movie trailer, ones which we believe will look good as some great quick shots, but also ones which need to be essentials in our trailer.

We are are going to be using a clock on a wall as one of our shots, this is going to be where you can hear the ticking and see the pointers moving.

We are going to be using living room sofas in at least two of our shots for the trailer, this is going to be where the friends will be sitting around talking, when one of them storms into the room wondering if the others have seen her necklace.

We are going to be using in one shot, it's a very quick shot of a candle being blown out.

We are going to be using a few books in the scenes where they are sat in the library, this is because they are researching about possession.

We will be using a picture of a possessed person, and then zooming into their eyes, it will then turn black.

We will be using a plate and fork, in the scenes where they are sat in the kitchen, and the actress which is playing the possessed girl, starts screeching her fork on the plate and stabbing it into the food very quickly, these shots are going to be very fast and the pace will also pick up in them. We got this idea from the film The Possession.

We will also be using a dining room set, in the same scene as the fork stabbing on the plate, this is because they will be sat in there in that scene.

We have decided that we are going to use a chandelier in one of the scenes, we are going to have it swaying so it looks like the possessed girl is making it move, we got the idea of a chandelier from the film The Others

We are going to be using a shot of someone opening a door, it's just going to be their hand and then placing the key into the lock, it's going to be a very quick shot, we got the idea for these fast few shots from the film Hot Fuzz.

We are using a gate in one of the very first few shots, this is also an idea from which we decided would look good, just like the quick shots from the film Hot Fuzz.

We are going to be using card board boxes for a scene at the very beginning of the trailer, this is to show the all the flat mates moving in together.

We are going to be using a quick shot of a car pulling into spot, the shot is just of the car wheels, you can't see the people inside the car.

Annabel has a wardrobe just like this and we came up with the idea of having the door opening really slowly and then when it opens all the way, you will see the possessed girl just standing over the bed.

We will be using a scene with a bed, when the possessed girl in looking over one of her flat mates, this is also the scene with the chandelier.

There will be book shelves in the scene when they are sat in the library, we are going to do a quick span of the library and then it will then go into an over head shot of the girls looking over books at the table.

Costumes

We decided that we wouldn't really need any extravagant clothing for our film trailer, because it's just set in the time period. but also they will just be wearing casual clothing that other people wear, because they are University students.

Quite a lot of the clothes attire will be lounge/ casual wear, such as jogger bottoms and hoodies, this is because they are students and they won't be walking around in the latest designer clothes.

We decided that in the last few scenes we are going to have the twins stood together in matching onesies, this scene will be filmed on an imac camera, as this is the scene, when one of the girls leaves her webcam on over night, and they are just stood their, looking creepily.
